When I get asked about counselling it's clear that some people imagine my counselling sessions as a place to talk about what has gone wrong or what is going wrong.

It is yes, but I'm more interested in something else.

🌿What becomes possible when you realise that you are not simply reacting to life but that you are participating in the creation of it?

It's not a big question but it does open the door to a few existential questions.

Us humans fall into emotional loops don't we and yes we can all recognise the familiar looping patterns of thought, the 'stories' about who we are or 'maybe we could' future questions.

Sometimes all it takes is a bit of perspective mixed in with humour and healing for those emotional loops to loosen.

And when these emotional loops start to loosen then whoah something fabulous appears....

🌿Choice, Imagination & Vision start to appear. And we like that!!!

For me counselling is not about endlessly analysing the past. I'm all about recognising the extraordinary creative capacity within our minds and learning how to use it more consciously to become more of who we are. How exciting is that!
