Yesterday I sent love to all the powerful women out there and today my family in the UK, Belgium, Germany and France are acknowledging the achievements of my cousin Daniele who was awarded the Legion d'honneur in Paris 🇨🇵

This is France's highest national order of merit (established by Napoleon Bonaparte) and given to those who have made an outstanding contribution to the country 🍾

Daniele has spent years dedicated to her work in research and she's never sought attention despite her established position. She's just a quiet, funny intelligent woman who's been extremely devoted to her purpose.

I wasn't able to be there due to other commitments here but I'm looking forward to visiting very soon and admiring her medal!!
